Upper Madison River
The Upper Madison River is an excellent pocket style water river. There are a ton of rocks and boulders in the middle of the river, causing great pockets for fish to hold in. It is an excellent river to wade fish and fish hoppers behind the rocks. With tons of public access, it's best to walk a little ways from the access to the areas that get less pressure. The Madison holds one of the best salmonfly hatches early summer, and if you can time it right, you can catch this great hatch in the upper stretch.
