Yellowstone river July 16th

The Yellowstone continues to fish great even with the recent rain that has been graciously welcomed by both trout and anglers.  Didn't see any mud today just a deeper olive green color to the water closer to town but still plenty of visibility.  Had some fish eating up top in the morning but the bigger fish all came on subsurface flashy nymphs and streamers.  Feels fantastic to have this incredible freestone offering up some consistent fishing because she can change her mind at the drop of a hat.
